The team dodge ball tournament is right around the corner. Do you have a team yet? If so, sign your team up on the poster size paper next to the trophy case... Also, you must fill out a waiver and have a parent signature on it, so pick one up in the office...

Did you know, more Americans die each year from smoking-related diseases than from AIDS, alcohol, car accidents, fires, illegal drugs, murders, and suicides combined?

The American Cancer Society’s Great American Smoke Out is held the third Thursday in November to encourage young people not to start a lifetime of addiction to nicotine. Therefore, Thursday, November 19, 2009, is Great American Smoke-Out Day at Columbia High School, and in doing so, we urge all students of Columbia High School to show we are united in taking this positive action to a more promising, healthy future. Not starting to smoke or if you are currently using tobacco products to go without for the day and consider quitting. During lunch time their will be a table in the cafeteria with information on quitting tobacco products like chew and cigarettes. Being tobacco free is the healthy thing to do, take pride in your future and work toward a healthier, smoke free generation for those younger students who look to you and set a good example.
