This year we will notify parents and students of school delays, cancellations, or other pertinent information, such as doubling of afternoon bus routes when necessary, using our webpage. We believe that this will get the information out in a timely manner and reduce the chances of getting a busy signal when trying to call our friendly secretaries or transportation employees as they make and receive phone calls regarding unexpected changes to the scheduled school day or bus routes.

Many of you mentioned that the scrolling bar was helpful in announcing delays and cancellations in late December and the first week when we returned from winter break. We trust that you will find the new scrolling message helpful!

While on our webpage, watch the evolution of the webpage itself. Under the watchful eye of Andrew Kramer, and one of our students, Kristin Honzik who learned webpage script HTML code on her own, we are developing the new “facelift” to our website. Kristin and Andrew anticipate the rollout of the new webpage late in November or early December.

Like a child anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new but back ordered toy, Andrew, Kristin and I eagerly awaited the unveiling of facelift for this new webpage. We wanted to “get it right” and I believe that Kristin and Andrew got it right—the webpage is not only beautiful webpage, but it is functional and we will continue to add additional useful information. We trust that you will excuse the delay from November. I believe that our webpage vies with some of the best school websites in the state. Thank you, Andrew and Kristin!
